Once upon a time there was a kingdom that was ruled by obedience. The king enforced many tasks and rules that must be followed or darkness was presented. Even his poor daughter, princess Thumbelina, must obey the rules or the king will show no mercury. One evening, Thumbelina was late to dinner. The king turned dark and anger appeared. Thumbelina begged for forgiveness but the king must teach the disobeying people that life follows with consequences. The king built a maze with no beginning nor ending. Thumbelina was thrown into the maze like flower pedals falling from the sky. While the sun is present, light the burns to the touch of an eye and when darkness falls, a beast was formed. The gentle princess was forgotten and was cursed by the ugly look of a beast. The curse will only be broken with true loves kiss but who can ever love a beast?
